We welcomed the challenges with the ambition to make digital serve the purpose.
Solution
It was obvious: traditional digital tools are of no much use in this case.
We had to focus on building relationships!

Our idea went about creating a character who would naturally link the older and younger generations. This is how the granny chatbot appeared. Her mission was to answer the questions, tell the story of her days, past and present, and help people learn more about the foundation.

Users mostly ask wise advice and want to know about her life in a nursing home. The topic of medical aid to the elderly is nearly as popular as volunteering for a "mail-pal" or a virtual grandchild role.
  • Vera Vasil'evna became a media star: many informational portals, such as the portal about charities «Takie dela», marketing portal «Sostav.ru», forbes.ru wrote articles about her. People of all ages still come to chat with a virtual granny in social networks.
